Short-trip & travel/visitor buzz
Landmark density, seasonal travel chatter, and visitor-facing payment norms as editorial themes — not arrivals counts or booking ranks; does not replace visa, insurance, or safety planning.
How to read this (travel / visitor buzz ranking)
- “Heat score” is a simple transform of rank so you can compare year to year: a higher score means a higher rank on this list. With 110 cities, it is roughly (110 + 1 − this year’s rank). The prior-year column uses last year’s rank the same way.
- The order is an editorial lineup for navigation — not hotel leaderboards, trip counts, or live travel-search trends.
The “prior year” columns use our earlier saved ranking for the same 110 cities. Heat scores come from rank for side-by-side years — not government visitor statistics, bookings, or UN DESA counts.
